BYT has participated in Lit Learning's pre-seed financing round along with angel investors from Walnut Ventures, Crimson Seed Capital and others.

Lit has a different approach to language acquisition. It’s an input-based tool for teachers and students, and facilitates acquisition by providing an entire platform of compelling, controlled input in the form of digital stories and customizable activities. Lit utilizes high-frequency vocabulary and models the most common language functions. Lit's platform also provides customizable differentiation of assignments and an intuitive gradebook and progress management. This fall, Lit is expanding to Mexico and will use its board of directors’ local connections to facilitate the new launch.
