Recent News About Afghanistan

We are deeply saddened to see that the Taliban militant group has regained control of Afghanistan due to the recent withdrawal of American military presence. As BYT's mission is to support minority entrepreneurs, especially women, we will continue to raise awareness about this issue and offer our support to the Afghans and stand with them during this trying time.

Lit's Learning's founder, Mati Amin, hails from Afghanistan, and his wife, Shabana Basij-Rasikh, is the Co-Founder and President of the School of Leadership, Afghanistan (SOLA). We are happy to report that as of the end of August, SOLA completed their departure from Kabul of nearly 250 students, faculty, staff, and family members.
